Description

When we want to get mellow, we head to this authentic Italian eatery, where the calzones are practically our religion. Crispy, fresh-baked dough wrapped around yummy ricotta cheese and any number of other fillings (you get to decide what), then topped with tangy marinara-we practically swoon! Also good is the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, a perfect pairing of tasty thin crust, zingy red sauce, and tender shredded chicken. Lunchtime specials include a generous half-sandwich (try the meatball sub-fresh bread; yummy sauce ladled over sliced meatballs-delicious!) and a side salad for $5.50. The friendly waitstaff loves to chat about the specials of the day, and appear to know the impressive beer and wine list by heart.

    With good food, and many options, this place pretty much has something for everybody. I am gluten-free, and they actually were out of GF dough this time around. The manager came to my table and apologized to me profusely, saying they were waiting for the order all day.

    He went over all the options with me, and assured me he would also notify the kitchen to make sure there was no cross contamination. BIG SCORE IN MY BOOK.

    My friend had ordered a gluten pizza, but his girlfriend is gluten-free and was on her way. While waiting, the GF pizza dough order came in and the manager came back to let us know. My friend swapped the pizza, but they had already made the original gluten pizza. They gave us the gluten pizza anyway (comped, much to the joy of the two gluten eaters of the party) and brought over the GF pizza!

    Stellar service and amazing options for all! Enjoy a cider for me! ;)
