Entering McSwiggans is the trickiest part, as the main outer door is quite heavy. Once inside, you are greeted by dark woods, Irish beer signage, and dart boards. Billing itself as "The Unofficial Boston Pub of Dallas," McSwiggans impresses with pub comfort food, including breakfast on weekends. Fresh sliced deli ham is grilled with cheddar cheese for a satisfying sandwich, and the side salad spotlights good field greens. Shepherd"s Pie is soul-warming on sunny or chilly days, and whatever the weather, be sure to sit in the genuine Fenway Park and Boston Garden seats to the left of the bar.
