The word “farm” tends to bring to mind images of cabbages and carrots lying in the sun, fields of wheat, and rows of berry bushes. McReynolds Farms is not that kind of farm. Instead, the McReynolds family focuses on providing quality meats, rotisseries, and BBQ sauce. The thing they do best is help you enjoy roast pig on a spit. The farm-raised pigs are fed a diet of grain and milk to ensure maximum flavor and tenderness, and they can be cooked up by you or brought to your party via catering service. The DIY pig kits are priced by weight and include a cooked piggy and three sides, or opt for catering at about $12 a plate for a 75-person shindig. Whole roasting pigs – apple-stuffed mouth and all – start at $220 for a 25–29 lb. piggy. You can even rent the rotisserie you need to prepare it and the smoking chips and sauce you need to get the most of the prime meat. McReynolds Farms is based in Phoenix and ships products nationwide.
