Description

McCoy's Firehouse looks like a firefighter-cum-bootlegger set-up in a tiny, abandoned Azteca. Assuming you don't think the establishment is closed from how dark it looks from the outside, the first thing you'll notice are walls covered in firefighting memorabilia, brick arches and how it re-named the jagerbomb for the Seahawks (the Hawkmeister!). On packed game-days there's a breakfast buffet. On all others McCoy's is low-key, with cheap appetizers, good drink specials, and more firefighter-themed Budweiser signs (two) than any other bar in the city.

Why is it that all firefighters have mustaches, pose topless for charity calendars, and smoke 12 packs of cigarettes a day? Because they're sexy and rugged, that's why. That's also why the firefighters who occupy the station neighboring McCoy's Fi... More »
