The MCA Cafe, the restaurant at the Museum of Contemporary Art, is one of the coolest nosh joints around, thanks to a great selection of coffee and booze, surprisingly good food and killer views from the rooftop location. The rub? You have to cough up the museum's $10 admission charge to get in. A better option? The MCA's $45 individual annual membership. Not only do you receive all those VIP perks, but you and a guest get unlimited access to the restaurant, which feels like a cafe turned private clubhouse. You often have the place to yourself when it opens at 11 a.m. every day, and if you can hang on for nine hours, you'll watch it transform into a swanky members-only bar before it closes at 10 p.m. on Friday night.
