Description

Rustic Italian cuisine in an upscale but unfussy setting. Dishes aren't exotic or avant-garde, they're just good. Two standouts among the appetizers: a fantastic beef carpaccio, and cremini mushrooms stuffed with veal. One of the thin-crust pizzas - with a thick layer of toppings - makes an excellent starter or meal for one. Entrées include a few pasta dishes, of course, as well as beef tenderloin, roasted pork tenderloin served over cannellini beans, and cioppino. Service is excellent, and the restaurant as a whole is imbued with an appealing, corner-joint vibe.
