Description

Inside downtown's famed Oviatt, the first Art Deco building erected in L.A., Cicada takes up a 15,000-square-feet, 30-foot-high room dripping with 1928 design flourishes. The Northern Italian, seafood-intensive menu of pastas, salads and appetizers also features lobster linguini, risotto with scallops and shrimp and tuna tartare. Decadent hazelnut mousse cakes and berry cobblers are made in-house.

    Maxwell Demille is one of the only people in LA to produce and maintain a vintage nightclub atmosphere every week! Wear your best and dance the night away in this 1928 Landmark to the live swingin sounds of the 20s-40's. The staff there is great! Kid Watson the energetic elevator boy will give you a lift to grab a drink from Max the mixologist in the upstairs lounge with all the right ingredients to make your night swell! Dinner is quite delicious as well. If you want to be transported back in time to when it was hip to lindy hop and wear suites/tuxedos out on the town then definitely come by on Sundays and let the experience begin!
