CLOSED If A-B InBev is the Goliath of breweries in the Benton Park-Soulard area, then Mattingly Brewing Company is the David. Brewmaster Drew Huerter turns out several tasty varieties at this brewpub, including the citrus- and coriander-tinged HOPtimal Munition APA, the nutty Homeward Brown ale and the fruity, spicy BrightSide Belgian White. The roster of beer is constantly growing; look for special weekly "Peek-a-Brew" event at which single-batch beer casks are tapped. The brief menu features pizza, burgers and beer-friendly appetizers.
