Seattle's office workers, foodistas, and drunks all love this roving Korean-Hawaiian taco truck. The kalbi (beef shortrib) and pork tacos?soft corn tortillas loaded up with tender grilled meat soaked in classic Korean marinades, frilly cabbage-carrot-sesame-cilantro slaw, and a smear of sriracha mayonnaise?may be the best street-food treat to hit Seattle since the taco buses rolled into town, dispensing carnitas and salsa roja. Not far behind the tacos is the Aloha slider, a tiny sweet-roll bun with smoky, oven-roasted kalua pork and the bright crunch of the slaw. And no bar food soaks up the last two beers quite like Marination's kimchi fried rice with a sunny-side-up egg on top.

By Hanna Raskin | Tue, August 23, 2011

Food trucks seem like a natural fit for Bumbershoot, where scads of music fans will seek well-made finger food. But festival organizers haven't yet figured out how to lure mobile carts to the e More >

Kalbi
tender short ribs marinated in kamala’s version of the iconic korean recipe. soy-based marinade all hugged up with garlic, and a mistress of citrus to satisfy your need for salty-sweet variety love. kalbi tofu is at the ready for the saucy herbivores among us. all of the pleasure with none of the cow.

Spicy Pork
a progressive version of classic korean bulgogi. rich red pepper smackdown heats up the belly but leaves your mouth in tact. sliced super thin for flavor galore.
Sliders

Sliders
warm and soft, stuffed with our signature slaw and your choice of spicy, juicy, shredded kalua pork, or spam* so good you’ll want more for your inbox. nunya sauce inside for good measure. *you wouldn’t know it was spam if we didn’t tell you, and when you’re done you’ll understand why it’s the unofficial national food of hawaii.
Kimchi Rice Bowl

Kimchi Rice Bowl
you like chopsticks? coolio. served with sunny side up fried egg. add any one of our meats or tofu and tell your friends to call you back in a bit.
Kimchi Quesadilla

Kimchi Quesadilla
a really good thing with another really good thing plus cilantro and kalua pork. believe.
Spam Musabi

Spam Musabi
the perennial staple of surfers and late-nighters worldwide. perfectly grilled slice of spam makin’ love to a paddycake of rice wrapped in a seaweed blanket. think spam sushi. no soy sauce necessary. just a napkin, and possibly a support group. *note! spam musubi is a frequent guest star but is not, repeat is not, on the all-the-time menu. nobody would eat anything else. they’re that good.
