If one nightclub epitomizes South Beach fun and excess, it's Mansion. The granddaddy of Beach nightlife is only 6 years old, which proves venues change in Miami as quickly as South Florida weather. Mansion features all the South Beach nightclub staples: strict door policy, pricey cover, and bottle service. But where it excels is booking the hottest electronic dance and hip-hop acts week after week, no matter the time of year. Then there's the opulence of it all: The foyer leads to a small alcove that eventually takes you to the main area. There, the private balcony that hosts ultra-VIPs and celebrities overlooks the main floor. But dance-floor space is limited. Mansion was one of the first clubs to place couches and tables for bottle service directly on the dance floor.

It's a giant nightclub. There really isn’t a dance floor. There are a lot of tables in the main room. They use truck horns – when the song builds up, they drop fake money from the ceiling. It’s a whole show. It’s amazing. It’s fun to DJ here. The whole energy and vibe are crazy. You can play anything from hip hop to house music. It just goes off. Everyone loves it. It’s such a great crowd.
