Overlooked and underappreciated, the beautiful blue Manhattan Bridge connects Chinatown with Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn. True, the bridge may not be as aesthetically pleasing as the Brooklyn Bridge, but certainly it is gaining a new appreciation as new generations of hipsters invade DUMBO and ride their bikes across the overpass on a daily basis. The bridge's nickel-steel construction seems to fit perfectly with the retro, thrift store '80s look.
