Based on the menu at this place, it seems "Mama" was a Tex-Mexican with a flare for different kinds of comfort food. You can find a huge variety of meals here, from chicken fried steak to enchiladas, with a full bar of specialty drinks to choose from. They offer breakfast at all times of the day for those of you who like to roll out of bed around 2 p.m. after an all-night bender, or eat it really early - around 1 a.m., after an evening of debauchery. Either way, you'll catch all types of customers chowing down on huge plates of food at this Houston institution.
