This sprawling entertainment complex is within throwing range of the future Marlins Stadium. There is free parking and the on-site security, off-duty police, and venue staff, are highly professional. Gaming, and barroom workers are courteous and helpful. There is a great big room full of Vegas style slots, a poker room with 19 tables, and a dog racing track. There is also an amphitheater for live entertainment by national touring acts, usually classic rockers. There is no smoking indoors, and plenty of food on site, as well as several bars.

Great venue for live music & had awesome seats way up in the bleachers when they brought ESPN's Friday Night Fights. Magic City is easy to get to, has plenty of free parking and drinks are about $5.

The point is, you're stoned, you're bored, and you're looking for something to do -- preferably free, and with munchies and cold drinks available. You might have been to a casino before, but Magic City is different. For one, it's located smack in the center of the city of Miami, which anybody here on vacation will tell you actually increases your high by as much as... More »
