Description
The Downtown Women's Center has been improving the lots of homeless ladies since 1978, and more recently, the DWC's adjacent space opened Made by DWC, an arts and crafts–oriented boutique featuring handmade work from the center's residents. Made by DWC also offers a café with food and beverages provided by local companies including groundwork, Loose Leaf and Homeboy Bakery. The café is open for breakfast and lunch, and the entire place has a motherly vibe to it, an urbane yet rustic quality that's a true oasis.
