Low lit with comfortable wooden furniture and a large bar, Mad Jacks' pride and joy is its patio with a fireplace. Rotisserie chicken, house-made pizzas, and the requisite burgers (from $6 to $20) are most popular, but finicky palates can find non-bar food options here like the strawberry feta salad ($9) or salmon with a citrus soy glaze ($17). Revamped by the folks who own Cowboy Slim"s in Minneapolis, Mad Jacks has a kids" menu and nightly specials, plus two daily happy hours and frequent live entertainment. Parking is free and on crowded weekend nights flows into the nearby strip mall lot.
