After hustling through the street vendor rites of passage (and getting married along the way), Christina Ha and Simon Tung opened their first brick-and-mortar pastry shop on St. Marks Place. Specializing in the delicate, popular French treats, the couple made their name hawking innovative flavors like candied bacon, passion fruit, and peanut butter-banana at the Hester Street Fair. The tiny store is a macaron lover's paradise, with a touch of American flair.
