For those of us more concerned with looking like a star than looking at one, there's M.A.C Cosmetics. (We actually did spend all our allowance on M.A.C lipsticks when we were teens!) These days the tempestuously hued lipsticks go for 14 bucks a pop, but you can get one for free at the Robertson flagship if you save the packaging from any used M.A.C product (six old pieces for one new lip or eye look). The company's "Back to M.A.C" program is at M.A.C's department-store counters too, but the Robertson store has the biggest selection, and the best makeup artists, who (if they're not too busy) will even give you an über-glam makeup lesson and application — with samples — at no charge.—Lina Lecaro

Favorite make up line. Hands down. The colors are insanely gorgeous and I always get compliments on them. Mac also does this "back to Mac" thing where if you bring in 6 empty containers for them to recycle, you get a free lipstick or eye shadow. So they are good for the environment and the customer!

Make Up that isn't great for your skin BUT it's the only choice if you need to do something BRIGHT and showstopping.
