Description

The vibe is très français at this new West Village bistro, all wood panels and mirrors (plus a lackadaisical French approach to service). Expect classic French fare (onion soup, salad with bacon and a poached egg) with an emphasis on meat products (steak au poivre) and a nod to the cuisine of Lyon, natch. One such delicious specialty was the truffled Lyon hot dog, encased in a pretzel bun and topped with sauerkraut. It"ll make you wish they had baseball in France.
