True Italian cuisine from Rome, as this cozy trattoria's menu touts, it is not. Virtually none of that city's most famed and/or unique specialties is among the fairly generic list of offerings (beef and salmon carpaccios, tiramisu, et cetera). But for those who want to eat what Romans do, homemade ravioli di ricotta e spinaci are typical and tasty. Best bet: When in Miami, do as the Sopranos would, and go for the veal Parmesan, a thin but perfectly tender and juicy breaded cutlet that's so big it overlaps the plate. And if it's a special the day you visit, zuppa di pasta e fagioli (or pasta fazool as New Jerseyans call it) is also a hearty and satisfying Italian-American dish.
