The first thing you notice about this Tempe Marketplace spot is that it looks like someone hit a yard sale - hard. The shabby chic, flea market look is no doubt designed to make the place look authentic and unique, but no, Dorothy, you're not in Kansas - this is a California-based chain with mediocre barbeque. Not the best, but certainly you can do worse at the mall, and the menu is big, including appetizers, meat platters, sandwiches, salads, burgers and Southern style seafood dishes. Portions are large, too, so seek out the live blues or jazz they have some nights and get your feet moving.
Mmm... apple butter and biscuits. One of the main reasons I come here, but not the only! Their main courses are well prepared and have great flavor!
