Description

Pushing the northern verge of Avenue B's restaurant row almost to Stuy Town, this glorified pizza joint has one of the nicest backyard gardens in the East Village. Beyond the handful of excellent, thin-crust pizzas, the pickings are slim: a couple of salads, a slender cheese-and-fruit plate, tomato bruschetta;with no pastas or main courses. So stick with the wine and pizzas, the best of which is carciofi, topped with plenty of artichokes on a four-slice crust imbued with a smoky taste from the wood-fired oven.
