Description

After getting off to a grand start as the affordable version of fine-dining institution Rover's, Luc now feels very much like a feeding trough that's helping to pay at the bills at the luxe spot next door. The French-style food is consistently disappointing, from the greasy pommes souffles to the dessicated cakes. Thierry Rautureau initially planned for Luc's front section to function as a bar. His instincts were right: Cocktails and ambiance are the neighborhood restaurant's few strengths.
