J.P. Miller's 1958 teleplay (later a play and then a feature film) was groundbreaking in its dramatization of the problems of alcoholism. It was the first time many got to see what goes on inside those mysterious Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Sin... More »

A pet shop is an odd place for a noir score, and an even odder place for a bed placed just 10 feet away from a fish tank where two piranhas bob, awaiting their next meal. But the sleazy sax and inviting mattress are integral to Charles Ludlam's co... More »

Event Review: Days of Wine and Roses

    | Sun, January 29, 2012

I really enjoyed the play. It was well acted. It's so hard to act drunk but the main characters pulled it off with depth and accuracy. Definitely a fine line to walk. And even though the script is a bit dated it is barely noticeable. This play is still very relevant in today's times. I encourage anyone who is on the fence about this play to please go see it!
