Description
The history of the Rex, one of the oldest buildings in Louisville, goes back more than a century: Opened as a billiards hall around 1908, it was also a movie theater for decades. In the late 1970s, it became Senor T’s, which subsequently closed after a thirty-year run. In 2010, a new building was essentially built within the walls of the old shell, and the Rex now sports a great rooftop patio as well as a patio in the front. While it’s a decent spot for drinks, the Rex also has many vegetarian and gluten-free items on its menu.
