Description
Los Gallitos is a colorful taqueria that serves up some of the most authentic, cheapest street tacos in town: 99 cents for a corn tortilla loaded with grilled meat (some of the possibilities are sizzling on a spit in the kitchen, and occasionally outside the shop). You can add to the load at the salsa bar, then wash your taco down with an also-authentic tropical Jarrito or horchata. Los Gallitos also offers gorditas, burritos and desserts, but the tacos are the real draw. And they come with heaping sides of unbeatable atmosphere, which occasionally includes vendors selling CDs or piping-hot chicharrones, or offering kids burro rides by a blow-up palace in the parking lot.
