Make a beeline for Los Dos's Adovada Ribs, hot and spicy and super tender. But first, order a pitcher of margaritas, tangy with fresh-squeezed lime juice, perfect for washing down the crispy chips and red and green salsas served to every visitor. The menu is careful to annotate spicy food as such, and while many of their delicious offerings fall under this category, there's plenty of Gringo-friendly slow-cooked pork carnitas and crispy rolled chicken flautas served with guacamole and sour cream. Check out the chicken enchilada dinner, served with red chilis and a fried egg, and end any meal with a cinnamon sopapilla and a cup of hot black coffee. Perfecto.
12:45 lunch and the place was about 1/2 full so we got a table right away. They give you chips and salsa to start which is quite hot, and very tasty. I ordered the Shrimp Veracruz, which was decent, but the shrimp was a little overcooked. The shrimp is also served with the tail on, so it is difficult to make a burrito or taco with the flour tortilla they give you. The spices in the shrimp / rice mix were pretty good though.
