Map & Directions 1485 Virginia Road
San Marino, CA 91108

LA Weekly's Description

Located in oh-so-posh San Marino, Lacy Park offers a one-mile running trail, six tennis courts, a baseball field, and an absolutely gorgeous rose garden. The park's 30 acres are lush, with beautiful trees – just take note that, on weekends, people who aren't residents of San Marino must pay a $2 entry fee.

Did you know? Lacy Park was once a lake – the lake for which Lake Ave. was named. Used by early residents for irrigation, it had mostly dried up by 1924 and was filled and turned into a park.

Admission is free on weekdays, not so on weekends for non-residents.

Perfect place for a morning walk. Or, check out the tennis courts for a game of tennis.

One of the best parks ever... love it here.. so does my dog Chester...it's his favorite place to hang out and ask everyone he meets to throw his tennis ball for him. Thanks for obliging!
