LA Weekly's Description
There aren't a lot of Japanese restaurants open late in Little Tokyo, and Kouraku was among the originals. With a diner-like atmosphere, it offers a wide array of ramen options as well as pan-fried noodles, rice bowls, and some Chinese dishes like meatballs, wonton soup and fried rice.
Tips from foursquare
"I love their seaweed salad combo plate with egg, coleslaw & potato salad. Also their Eikagesu(squid legs!) is terrific. Great late night place to eat after shows!" - Tammie Brown, RuPaul's Drag Race
open until 3am!!
If you're drunk and lost in downtown, I recommend the meatballs here. If you're sober, stay away.
Ramen has lost flavor. Not as good ad before
