LA Weekly's Description
This Mid-City shop is known for its clean-lined, warmly minimalist clay bowls, plates, cups, casseroles and pottery and none of them come cheap. At $42 a plate and $27 a mug, Heath Ceramics might hit you with sticker shock if youre used to something more along the lines of IKEA. But Heath is dedicated to craftsmanship and enduring quality, and as always, that comes at a price.
Tips from foursquare
Anyone I know with taste gets plates from Heath Ceramics.
We can't get enough of the open airy space, tons of light wood, elegant fixtures, and, of course, gorgeous ceramics. [Racked 38 Member]

The San Francisco Embassy in LA
This place is great. The ceramic ware is beautiful--mid-century--and the store is gorgeous. Staff very easy going and you can tell they love the product. They have cool events, too.
