LA Weekly's Description
Foodies fond of foie gras, vichyssoise and other French fare have no doubt gotten their fix at Bouchon Bistro in Beverly Hills. And no doubt theyve spotted tourists, film industry types and all manners of posh folk splitting a charcuterie plate or a $110 seafood platter at the raw bar. Owner Thomas Keller (who also has locations in Vegas and wine countrys Yountville) takes the menu seriously, offering classic French dishes from steak with Bearnaise sauce to coq au vin to croque madame. Chef David Hands even gives brunch items likes chicken and waffles (roasted chicken with bacon and chive waffles) and French Toast (banana bread with Chantilly cream and ginger-lime butterscotch) a twist. If you prefer the relaxed outdoors to the fancy environs, the restaurant also packs picnic baskets during the summer ranging from $14 to $48.
Tips from foursquare
If you can’t acquire a coveted table, sit at the bar, which serves the entire menu.

I could happily order the grand seafood platter with another person and spend the evening working through the oysters, clams, shrimp, Dungeness crab and more, polishing off the lobster @ the very end.
Happy hour is 4-7PM here. Get a $7 cocktail du jour (rotates weekly), $4 beer or $5 glass of wine. The chip dip is delicious.
