Map & Directions 311 W. Foothill Blvd.
Monrovia, CA 91016

Merchant's Description

The Historic Aztec Hotel was constructed in 1925 in the foothills of Los Angeles along original U.S. Route 66 (also known as the Will Rogers Highway for the humorist and colloquially known as the “Main Street of America”). This ornately designed Hotel with Mayan and Aztec architecture is situated in downtown Monrovia. It was restored and placed on the National Historic Register in 2003.
The 44-room Hotel with colorful mural paintings includes the Brass Elephant Bar and the Mayan Restaurant and Bar. Live entertainment with dancing is offered six nights per week and features many up-and-coming LA bands and individual artists. Drinks are reasonably priced and atmosphere is casual and friendly.
Hotel guest rooms consist of standard as well as kitchenette units. Private parties and events can be scheduled in the Mayan Restaurant, which connects to a spacious and well-landscaped outdoor patio and garden.
