LA Weekly's Description

A Hawaiian-style cafe in Little Tokyo, Aloha Cafe serves up some of the best loco moco we've had in Los Angeles. A mountain of white rice covered with hamburger patties, grilled onions, eggs and lots of brown gravy, loco moco is a starchy, meaty, hearty mess. At Aloha Cafe, the gravy is rich, smooth and a burnished dark brown that's never bland or overly salted. Other entrees include Kalua Pork, a pig that's slow-cooked 'til it's smoky, chicken teriyaki and char siu. For dessert, try shaved ice or a house-made macadamia nut cheesecake.

Eat the Loco Moco! 2 hamburger pattie, two runny eggs, over rice all covered in gravy... and a mac salad

Their kalua pork is awesome. Every Saturday they have DELICIOUS chicken long rice soup as well. Nod to the lomi salmon as well.

The food is awesome. You must stop by if you're in little Tokyo.

Get the ramen cabbage salad every time.
