Description

The Lockspot, a 90-year old institution on the edge of the Ballard locks, feels like the kind of workingman's haunt that ought to be serving rib-sticking platters of bacon and eggs in the morning and salty fried fish at night. The restaurant doesn't disappoint on either score. And if you're not adverse to the Elks Lodge-like decor, the strong drinks -- and drinking fishermen with strong opinions -- make it well worth nabbing a stool at the Lockspot's bar.
