Paul Tamburello, a developer who's doing several projects in northwest Denver, drew inspiration from his own past when he created Little Man Ice Cream. His grandfather had owned an ice cream store in Chicago in the 1930s, and he thought LoHi -- as he calls the lower edge of Highland -- could use a store of its own. But not just any store: Tamburello created a shop that looks like a giant milk can. In the summer, this spot serves up handmade ice cream in homemade waffle cones, hand-mixed sodas, ice cream bars and sandwiches, root beer floats -- the works. And in the winter, it offers an assortment of hot soups, chili, fresh-baked bread and hot chocolate. But no matter the season, Little Man looks cool.

I would suggest going on an empty stomach b/c once you look at the flavors you want more than one scoop!! Yum!
Just went the other day I went and there was a line of about 50 people. It was totally worth the wait though. The entire experience was really cool. The boys hooked me up with a giant waffle cone!
