Stopped in here one night before a P Bruins game. My friend who lives in Providence tells me, "I have the perfect place to grab a burger before we go. It's called Lili Marlenes." I'm thinking it would be a Trinity Brewhouse sort of place. NOT. It's dark. Very dark. The vibe is relaxed. We grabbed a couple of beers and waited for the kitchen to open at 6pm. Bartender made enough small talk to be interesting but not intrusive. We eventually ordered food that was cheap, delicious, and served by a very cool and efficient gothy kind of girl. I dunno, maybe she wasn't gothy. I could barely see her. We almost missed the game. I really, really didn't want to leave. I can't wait to go back.
