This membership organization for the LGBT legal community works to promote advancement of its members, foster pro-bono work and advocacy, advance community work toward equal rights, and encourage gay friendly judicial appointments. LeGaLas foundation funds a free weekly walk-in clinic at the Lesbian and Gay Community Service Center as well a new Low Income Law Clinic that gives lawyer referrals, with the aim of matching up needy clients with free lawyer services whenever possible.
