Ideally situated to be enjoyed after a few holes at the adjacent golf course, Legacy Grill offers a series of rooms in which guests can quietly enjoy a thick steak as a reward for a job well done and modest salad to munch on before reaching an airline's private club. You see, the restaurant is in a hotel frequented by traveling business types, the Westin Stonebriar Resort. The clientele seated at Ernie's Bar or at one of the tables is evidence enough. The cuisine is overall New American, meaning it takes license with the world's cuisines (in this case mostly Mexican) and forces them through an American sieve. That's not all bad, however. Protein, like swordfish, can be selected with a house-made mesquite or porcini rub. Watch out for the accompanying wasabi. It's a throat kicker.
