Because of its close proximity to Nova Southeastern, Lefty's Tavern and Grille gets a lot of business from college students. There's live music on Wednesdays, karaoke every Friday, and Trivia Tuesdays. For the food, chicken wings are the main attraction, but you can also find salads, burgers, and an array of sandwiches, like the fried grouper Reuben. Another draw? It's always happy hour at Lefty's, where you can get $2.25 domestic drafts, five-for-$10 domestic bottles, $2.49 well liquor, and $3.49 house wine and a few name brands of liquor, including Bacardi and Smirnoff, anytime from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. You can wash down those drink specials with 50-cent wings and clams available Monday through Wednesday. Family fun is offered too via a makeshift arcade for the little ones, and you may even find a clown making animal balloons on Wednesdays, when kids eat free (with the purchase of adult entrée).
