Pick up a latte and a croissant (or a brownie, or a muffin) and you'll be happy. Now that it's de rigueur for coffee expenditures to eat away a substantial portion of your income, it might as well be good. If you need a snack, take a seat at the long communal (but spacious) table and have a tartine (in French, that means "who removed the top of my sandwich?") of duck pté with gherkins, Paris ham with three mustards, or brie with pecans, all on excellent bread, or have the cheese plate-six kinds of bread, six kinds of cheese.
