Forget weekend-only farmstands and other markets with inconvenient hours across Miami. Laurenzo's Market serves up fresh fruits and veggies seven-days-a-week. While it lacks the outdoorsy charm of say, the Coconut Grove Organic Farmer's Market, this indoor outpost has a killer selection of produce across the board - which is the real point of a farmer's market, after all. So screw shopping at Publix or God forbid, Super Walmart. This North Miami Beach market has it over those corporate shills any day.
Warning: If your idea of a perfect farmers' market includes patchouli-scented homemade candles and organic hypoallergenic honey, Laurenzo's is probably not the place for you. Laurenzo's is not hip, it's not outdoors, and it has all the new-age, hipsy-dipsy ambiance of Big Lots.
