A little dumpling shack specializing in northern-style fried dumplings, which have a thick doughy outside and a juicy pork and chive filling inside. It is pricier than some, at four for a dollar rather than five, but these are generously filled. Another standout standby is the sesame pancake filled with beef . It is freshly made with a crisp, golden brown outside speckled with sesame seeds. The serving is a large wedge, which is sliced open to reveal a steamy, airy inside. Then they fill it with thin slices of brisket and some hoisin sauce. On the counters, there are other condiment options, and my advice is to combine the watered-down sriracha (Vietnamese hot sauce made from sun-ripened chiles) and the soy sauce and vinegar (which are already combined in another sriracha bottle).
