  Recommended for a pleasant walk along the New River in downtown Fort Lauderdale. You might want to take a ride on the Water Taxi and enjoy the canals of Fort Lauderdale. The Riverwalk itself, however, is a failed $81 million dollar redevelopment scheme, which some want to now tear down. Basically it failed as there is either no or totally inadequate parking or directional signs to it. The city tries to force you into a paid parking ramp, even though they have plenty of other space available. Most of the businesses that originally took up location there are now out of buiness, so you will see plenty of blank store fronts.

  Another college town! Cheap beer, liquor gets crazy packed when holidays come around just go crazy and bar hop your way through most places don't charge cover some do

  Such a cute place to walk around, go to lunch and shop! When my parents come in town, I always take them there.

  One word..sick. bring your friends to slims, art bar, brick rock bar, off the hookah, or tons of other hot spots.. Nightlife is hot til 4am during the weekends..College kids from all over, great place to party
