Situated for diners to enjoy views of the lake at downtown's Union Station, Landry's Seafood House serves up a large selection of options including shrimp cocktail, oysters or mussels to start, and entrees of swordfish, snapper or Chilean sea bass. Landry's platters (read: combo platters) provide the perfect solution for the indecisive. Diners can also choose from a few beef, pork and chicken options.
This restaurant is not up to the Landry's reputation. Slow service, food that tastes like it was frozen and heated up, no flavor. Charged for something we didn't order. Won't go back and won't recommend to anyone. There are many other good places to eat in St. Louis where you don't wait 15 minutes for the server to even come to your table and then wait another 5 minutes to get water. They said it was because they were busy the restaurant was less than half full at that time. I don't call that busy. Plus our server was being hostess at one point while we were waiting for our check for 10 minutes.
