Description

A private chef during his Los Angeles days and the former engine behind SubCulture Dining, his underground supperclub, LaFitte's Russell Jackson styles himself as a "dissident" chef. His restaurant, a 135-seat industrial space with a lovely view, offers an eclectic, seasonal menu somewhat less unusual than the chef's image would suggest: scallops with avocado and quinoa, tomato water consommé, and bouillabaisse, for example.
