Description
In 2009, Lafayette Fire Co. No.1 took over the spot formerly occupied by Soda Fountain Square. The large dining area remains the same with the addition of firefighter/EMS paraphernalia - hats and hydrants abound. The menu offers family-friendly fare with breakfast items served until 2 p.m. and including omelets, pancakes and specialty items such as the Sloppy Firefighter, two eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, green pepper and onions on biscuits with gravy and cheese. Guests can opt to stay and catch a ball game on one of the TVs situated throughout the restaurant or catch the shuttle to and from the game. Diners can also choose to round up their bill to support BackStoppers and/or the Missouri Children's Burn Camp.
