Two energetic sisters run this neat-as-a-pin bake shop, where the kitchen seƱoras turn out crisp, slender potato or chicken flautas and pull-out-the-stops tortas of stewed carne guisada or chicken. Breakfast tortas or gorditas of egg, potato and bacon gratify, as do grilled Mexican biscuits (bring your own jelly) and huevos rancheros. Too bad about the lousy coffee.
The best people-watching patio in the city, in my opinion. Their 'ritas are strong, too.

get the queso in the chip bowl. Fajitas are awesome. Various HH and drink specials throughout the week. usually a good crowd, but the place is huge. Good parking right now since terrilli's & hurricane's aren't back up and running yet.
On weekends, cars wedge into the small lot of this service station-turned-panaderia, with most people hoofing it from distant parking spaces down the street. They know. They've been warring over parking spots every year for the last two decades or so to get at the pan dulce of La Victoria.
