This is a typical neighborhood taquería, open for terrific breakfasts and for late-night Mexican food fixes. La Tapatia is known for its potent margs, pickled vegetables that come with the chips and salsa, inexpensive tortas (sandwiches), huge burritos and traditional Mexican food like cabrito (baby goat), menudo and pozole (hominy soup).
