This tiny little place that looks like grandma?s house, complete with the front porch, gated lot and cozy feel (okay, so it?s a total hole-in-the-wall). It?s as if you?ve stepped out of Texas and into El Salvador, which, by the way, is the main focus of their cuisine. It?s not surprising that you?ll find plenty of black beans and rice, which is a staple, alongside pupusas ? perhaps the most widely known delicacy to hail from this tiny Central American country. If you aren?t fluent in Spanish, make sure to bring someone who is when you pay a visit, because no one in the restaurant knows much English.
