Description

Bright patterns, woven baskets, and wheat bouquets make this a cheery destination. Though it serves authentic Provençal lunches and dinners -- with live jazz bands accompanying selected meals -- La Note is really the quintessential breakfast spot, offering fluffy raspberry oatmeal pancakes, a still-warm cream cheese coffeecake, and decadent omelets served with garlicky home fries and Provençal tomatoes. Rich house-blend coffee or creamy cafe latte (served European-style in a bowl) makes the morning bright.
