Description

Though it migrated north from its previous University Way location, La Casa del Mojito kept its bright colors and penchant for the authentically Caribbean. The Casa's menu is small and focused on the main Caribbean food groups: meat, fish, beans, rice, and tostones (crispy fried plantains). Service can be atrocious, but the mojitos, caipirinhas, and margaritas have much improved of late. The ambience of blaring Latin pop sometimes gives way to live music giving the cafe a comfortably laid-back vibe.
